Most flow problems aren't really flow problems. They're access problems, straight-run problems, line-size problems, or media problems: abrasive slurry, corrosive chemistry, dirty water, or gas at low pressure. How do I measure flow with limited straight run, large-diameter lines, or difficult media?

V-Cone and cone-style differential pressure meters handle large-diameter lines, short straight runs, and difficult media, including applications where an orifice plate won't survive or won't fit. Propeller meters cover simpler water service.

Which magnetic flow meter fits process water, cooling water, or wastewater service?

Full-bore and insertion magmeters measure process water, cooling and condenser water, effluent, sludge, and industrial water. Insertion magmeters are a practical choice for large lines where a full-bore meter would be costly to install.

Manufacturers: McCrometer (full-bore and insertion magmeters; coverage above) and Azbil (Tennessee only, industrial and municipal; Azbil MagneW meters are not NSF-61 certified, so they suit wastewater, leachate, effluent, and sludge, not potable water).

How do I add a flow meter without cutting pipe or shutting down?

Clamp-on ultrasonic meters mount on the outside of the pipe, so retrofits can go in without cutting the line or taking a shutdown. Inline and area-velocity ultrasonic meters cover other installations.

How do I measure air and gas flow at low pressure?

Thermal mass flow meters measure combustion air, aeration air, flare gas, and biogas directly in mass units, without separate pressure and temperature compensation.

What do I use for level, pressure, and temperature measurement?

Submersible level transmitters, general-purpose pressure and differential pressure transmitters, RTDs, thermocouples, and custom temperature sensor assemblies cover the supporting measurements across a plant.

Which heat exchanger fits my process heating or cooling application?

Plate heat exchangers and engineered heat transfer equipment handle process heating and cooling, chilled and condenser water, and thermal recovery, including exotic-metal construction for corrosive service.

How do I clean up noisy or long-run instrument signals?

Signal conditioners, converters, and loop isolators protect flow, level, and temperature signals on long runs and in electrically noisy plants.
