How do I protect a storage tank, digester, or gas header from flashback and overpressure?
Flame arresters stop a flame front from traveling back into a tank or line, and pressure and vacuum relief valves keep a vessel from rupturing or collapsing as it fills, empties, or heats up. We supply both, along with tank vapor safety equipment, for storage tanks, digesters, gas headers, and vapor recovery systems.

How do I monitor for methane, H2S, and other hazardous gases in enclosed spaces?
Fixed gas detection watches for methane, hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, oxygen deficiency, and other toxic gases in blower buildings, enclosures, confined spaces, and process areas, and alarms before a leak becomes an incident.

When do I need a purge and pressurization system?
When standard instrumentation, analyzers, or control panels have to sit inside a Class I, Division 1 or Division 2 area, a purge and pressurization system keeps flammable gas out of the enclosure so that equipment can operate safely.

How do I measure gas flow when the composition and pressure keep changing?
Thermal mass flow meters measure flare gas, digester gas, biogas, and combustion air where variable composition and low pressure defeat conventional meters.

How do I measure gas quality to pipeline specification?
Gas analyzers measure oxygen, hydrogen sulfide, and moisture so upgraded gas meets pipeline injection requirements and process gas stays within safe limits.

How do I isolate signals coming out of a hazardous area?
Loop isolators, signal converters, signal conditioners, and intrinsically safe (I.S.) interfaces protect control signals on noisy or long-run installations and between hazardous and safe areas.
