Level Plus M-Series Analog Level Gauges
MAGNETOSTRICTIVE LEVEL GAUGES
MTS has been the world leader in magnetostrictive sensing technology for more than three decades. In fact, we invented it. That's why you can depend on the MTS name for the most accurate and reliable liquid level sensors made today.
Level Plus® M-Series liquid level gauges offer you unsurpassed flexibility to meet most process application conditions. M-Series gauges are modular in design, allowing you a selection of electronics housing styles, sensor pipe styles and materials.
The Flexible, Removable sensing element can have up to two 4 to 20 mA loops for analog indication of level, interface, and temperature, and HART® communication allows the M-Series gauge to indicate and display all three measurements variables simultaneously. MTS also offers Modbus and Fieldbus Outputs.
MTS invented the flexible sensing element and flex pipe to complement their full line of sensor products and to allow for lower shipping and installation costs involving application lengths of 10 to 60 feet. With a required minimum clearance height of just four feet, MTS Liquid-Level flexible sensors provide custom solutions and allow for cost-effective retrofit installations - especially in existing vessels with low ceiling clearances.
Our Rigid gauges are available in lengths up to 25 feet, with the Flexible gauges up to 60 feet in length.
Set-up, calibration, and diagnostics are available from any point in the loop using a standard HART hand-held terminal. Optional on-board display and keypad is also provided for local indication and programming.
All Level Plus gauges use magnetostrictive technology and have only one moving part , the float. This simple design ensures no scheduled maintenance or recalibration will be required. Floats are available in a Variety of styles and sizes to fit most applications , in 316L stainless steel, Teflon®, Hastelloy® C-276, Nitrophyl®, and Monel® K-500.
